What is The Phonics Formula?The Phonics Formula is a research based approach for teaching anyone to read and spell. It is the only tool on the market that puts the entire structure of the English Language at your fingertips in an easy-to-follow format. This program works for everyone – from a preschool child without any knowledge to the adult with rudimentary reading skills. This will work for any child, even those with learning disabilities such as dyslexia. How do I use The Phonics Formula?The program is designed to be used by the instructor or Reading Coach. It comes with a detailed Reference Guide that will help you through the process of instructing your student. This Guide will help both the parent wanting to teach at home and the teacher in the classroom. The program itself is organized into 12 volumes that assist the coach and student in mastering the skills necessary to achieve lifelong literacy. I am a teacher. How can I use The Phonics Formula in my classroom?The Phonics Formula is essentially a teacher training tool. In essence, it teaches you what to teach and how to teach it. The program is organized into what a teacher might see as lesson plans. Each volume covers new skills and includes exercises and activities designed to help your students achieve mastery of the skill being taught. The program was designed to be held in a loose-leaf binder enabling the teacher to copy pages for overheads or for distribution to students for completing exercises. For whom is The Phonics Formula written?The Phonics Formula will help anyone who wishes to learn to read. The original concept was to create a book to help adults who were never given the skills to become good readers and spellers. As the books were written, we noticed that they would be equally successful in helping parents and teachers to teach students of all ages and reading levels.
